Join the fun at Canada's 150 Birthday with neighbours, family, and friends.

PLEASE NOTICE LOCATION CHANGE: The daytime festivities at Fairy Lake Park have been moved to Newmarket's Riverwalk Commons (north parking lot #3) due to the significant rainfall levels around Fairy Lake Park. 

Enjoy the vendors and stage entertainment at the Newmarket Farmer's Market at Riverwalk Commons and a pancake breakfast ($4/serving) presented by the Newmarket Car Club from 8 a.m. to Noon. 

Also at Riverwalk Commons, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., enjoy entertainment for all ages with rides on the ferris wheel, merry-go-round, rock climbing wall, face painting, multiple inflatables, balloon twists and more. Other entertainment includes a BMX stunt show, live musical performance by Summer of 69' (tribute to Bryan Adams) and Bon Jovi Forever (salute to Bon Jovi), beer garden presented by the North Newmarket Lions (for adults 19+ years with photo ID) and much more. 

Admission to the event is free although some activities cost: 
•Ferris Wheel ($3/person) •Merry-go-round ($3/person) •Face painting ($3/person) •Henna ($3/person) •Food vendors (various cost). 

Present or purchase your 150 Days of Summer button at the Town Information booth to receive free access to face painting, henna, and unlimited rides on the ferris wheel and merry-go-round. 

The free Kanata bus shuttle is back again! Park at the Ray Twinney Recreation Complex (100 Eagle Street West) or the Magna Centre (800 Mulock Drive) and ride the Kanata bus shuttle to Riverwalk Commons.
