Since moving to Newmarket, I’ve been dedicated to supporting local charities and events, including volunteering for the Terry Fox Run (as a 40-year Ambassador), the Women’s Centre of York Region, Help-Portrait, the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce, Clearmeadow school council, Belinda’s Place, and the Run for Southlake.
A highlight of my journey was being chosen by my Ward 6 neighbors to represent them on Newmarket Council in 2014. I promised to focus on community, charity, public service, and results. Through continued volunteer work and community initiatives, I’ve upheld these values and achieved significant progress for our neighborhood.
Together, we’ve brought Newmarket’s first accessible splash pad, the Ward 6 community ice rink, and a vibrant, eco-friendly space at Mulock Farm. These accomplishments are just a few of the many results we've worked hard for.
It’s been an honor to serve Ward 6 for over a decade, and I look forward to continuing to work together for our community's future.
