Newmarket declares a Significant Weather Event as of March 3 at 2 p.m.

The Town of Newmarket is declaring a Significant Weather Event as of March 3 at 2 p.m. due to the potential of heavy snow accumulation (pursuant to s.16.9 of Reg. 239/02, as amended). This declaration will remain in effect until further notice. 

The above weather hazards provided by Environment and Climate Change Canada have the potential to pose a significant danger to users of all roads within Newmarket. Please take extra caution and avoid unnecessary travel.
