Council expressed their concerns over the More Homes for Everyone Act, 2022 specifically around the timeframe allowed to review and fully analyze the implications on Newmarket and the proposed fee rebates associated with development applications that are not approved within a legislated time-frame. As presented in the SCCY year in review, the partnership included initiatives to raise awareness of different modes of transportation and enhance safety in school zones.
Newmarket Council grants Campbell’s Amusements Carnival License Application to host the Joe Persechini Charity Midway from May 9 to 15 at the Magna Centre. This event is sponsored by Easter Seals Society with all proceeds going to Southlake Regional Health Centre.
