Ward 6 Re-Elects Kelly Broome in the 2022 Newmarket Municipal Election

I am excited to share with you that on October 24th, 2022, I was re-elected as your Ward 6 Councillor. Please view the full election results here. Newmarket’s strong reputation is a result of our engaged residents and wonderful volunteers. It is a pleasure to be part of a community that comes together to help each other. Over the past eight years, together, we have achieved great results for Ward 6. From enhanced road safety including additional speed boards, stop signs, safer school zones, crosswalks, and crossing areas to new parks and playgrounds, a volunteer community ice rink, ward 6 fully accessible splash pad, and our first town-run fitness facility. It is an exciting time with recreational projects now underway; the development of Mulock Park, Newmarket’s first multi-use path, and the outdoor ice pad at the Ray Twinney Complex. I want to thank our Ward 6 residents. I feel fortunate and blessed to live and raise a family alongside caring people who share a common goal of building a safer and healthier community. It is an honour being able to work for Ward 6 and contribute to a stronger, better Newmarket. I look forward to expanding on our vision for Ward 6 with you.

By working together, sharing information, ideas and being engaged in our community we can achieve great things for Newmarket.
