Remembering 9/11

Today, #WeRemember the victims of the 9/11 attack.

A total of 2,977 people were killed in New York City, Washington, DC and outside of Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

At the World Trade Center site in Lower Manhattan, 2753 people were killed during the attack or as a result of the crashes.

Included in those lost were 343 NYC Firefighters (including a Chaplin and two Paramedics), 23 NYC Police Officers, and 37 Port Authority Officers.

Today, we reflect and honour the fallen, the survivors who were working that fateful day that are haunted by the event, and the families affected. #NeverForget #911
