New Housing coming to Newmarket

Every Canadian deserves a place to call home. Thanks to investments made by the Government of Canada, residents of Newmarket will soon have access to more stable rental housing options that are affordable to the middle-class, and those working hard to join it.

Residents of Newmarket will soon have access to more rental housing. We’re financing $79 million to help build 216 rental units in the community. The development includes a 15-storey building offering 1 to 3-bedroom units with construction expected to be complete in early 2023. This will provide a much-needed boost to the rental supply in Newmarket.
