Town of Newmarket COVID-19 A Message from Kelly Broome

I am writing to you all today to say thank you for the care and consideration I am seeing across all our neighbourhoods. We all need to help each other during these difficult times and work together to make sure all our families, friends, and neighbours are safe. Please check in on each other and if you can lend a hand, please do while practicing safe distancing.

I would like to thank everyone who is continuing to work whether it is in emergency services or in our local stores.

Currently, our government has declared a state of emergency in order to suspend normal government practices to act on helping our communities. You will hear our government say we need to flatten the line. This is very real and we have it in each of us to do our part, be prepared, be smart, care of each other while practicing safe distances, to prevent the spread and ultimately save lives.
