Town to seek feedback from residents on proposed regulations to Smoking By-law

The Town will be updating its Smoking By-law and will seek feedback from residents on proposed regulations related to smoking and vaping tobacco and cannabis in public spaces. Residents will have the opportunity to learn more and provide their feedback at the Town’s upcoming Community Open House TODAY at the Municipal Offices (395 Mulock Drive) from 4 to 8 p.m. For those unable to attend the Community Open House, the survey is also available online at newmarket.ca until April 30. Residents may also be contacted by the Town via telephone as well to provide their feedback . Residents are encouraged to Get Involved and give their feedback on specific questions related to the proposed regulations to help inform Council’s decision. For more information, call 905-895-5193.
