War of the Wards Earth Hour

oin the Town of Newmarket for a War of the Wards in support of Eah Hour on Saturday, March 19 from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. Residents are encouraged to power down for the hour as a commitment to make this planet a better place to live. 

This year the Town of ewmarket will be hosting a War of the Wards where all wards will be competing with one another to see which ward has the most pledges to conserve the most energy. Residents from Wds 1 through are encouraged to register themselves online s well as spread the word to friends, family and neighbours. Which ever ward receives the most pledges will be selected as the winner and will receive a Ward Party hosted by Regional Councillor John Taylor and the winning Ward Councillor.
