Public Works Services, Operations Centre Snow Update

Sidewalk Clearing: Parks has completed a round of clearing, sand/salting on designated sidewalks today. Parks will proceed with another round of clearing, sand/salting starting at 5 am Tuesday morning. 
 
Street Clearing: Roads has completed three rounds of sand/salting;  a) 6:30 pm on Sunday night  b) 3:30 am this morning (Monday)    c) throughout the day as the snow squalls moved through this afternoon.   Roads will start a ploughing operation at 9 pm tonight and going throughout night.
 
Additional squalls are expected throughout the night.
