As of 4 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, the Town of Newmarket has declared a Significant Weather Event due to heavy snowfall.
At our recent council meeting, we discussed the impact of Bill 23 on Newmarket’s heritage properties and the steps we're taking to protect our town’s history.

The property includes welcoming green space and a historic home, all in the centre of urban Newmarket at the northwest corner of Mulock Drive and Yonge Street. Inline Council’s Strategic Priorities, Extraordinary Places and Spaces the Mulock Property has completed its full design and master plan.

As I lace up my boots for our 11th Coldest Night of the Year Walk, I reflect on how this journey began. What started in 2014 as a family walk has grown into a powerful tradition of community, compassion, and action. Each step we take tonight is a step toward hope—for those who need it most.
